When I came down to let the ducks out, I again found Bossy Pants sitting on her nest. After opening the door, I hung out nearby for a few minutes to watch her. The male came bounding out and into the pond. She quacked at him but stayed put. After a couple minutes she carefully got up off the nest, gently tucking straw in over the eggs before she left to join her mate for a swim. So interesting to watch!
